Bug Advisory Bug Advisory Issue Summary Among ESP32-C3 series of products (including ESP32-C3 series of chips, modules, and development boards) developed and produced based on ESP-IDF v4.3-rc and ESP-IDF v4.3, a few are unable to boot due to improper parameter configurations in the chip’s initialization software. !Affected ESP-IDF versions:!master branch: from eea76d1#to#b342b49#(excluded).!release/v4.3 branch: from 6d2bdfc#to 517dd5c#(excluded), including release v4.3-rc#and v4.3.!Patched Versions of ESP-IDF Note: ESP-IDF v4.3.1 and versions higher already include the fix to this bug. You are recommended to use the latest stable versions based on release/v4.3 branch, the latest stable version is ESP-IDF v4.3.2.!Recommendations for Application Developers When you develop ESP32-C3 series of products or upgrade ESP-IDF versions used for ESP32-C3 series of products, it is recommended to use ESP-IDF v4.3.1 or versions higher.!If you encounter any problems during the upgrade process, please provide the IDF version or commit ID to Espressif.
